Dog Stolen from CO Fire Station

Tuff, a border collie puppy, was inside a crate at the Franktown fire station when he was taken.

Franktown firefighters say someone stole their dog from their firehouse.

Tuff, a 12-week-old border collie, was inside a crate inside the fire station Thursday.

“I’m stressing myself out, thinking of all I can do,” firefighter Clayton Weldon told KVDR.com.

“Just to take somebody’s dog, right before Christmas. I’d just love to have my dog here, back home for Christmas,” he said.

The Douglas County Sheriff's office was investigating the incident.

Weldon said Tuff was housed in a crate inside Station 183.
